Privacy Policy

Overview

Myfolio (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a private portfolio platform for photographers and models. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data. We collect only what is necessary to operate the service.

Data we collect

• Account information — your email address and password, collected when you create an account.
• Profile information — your display name, username, and optional bio, which you provide voluntarily.
• Photos and content — images you upload to your galleries, stored securely on our servers.
• Viewer analytics — when someone views your portfolio via a private link, we record page views, time on page, scroll depth, and image interactions (which images were viewed, zoomed, liked, or compared with the before/after slider). No personally identifiable information about viewers is collected without their knowledge.
• Technical data — IP address, approximate location (country/city), browser type, and device info, collected automatically when you or your viewers use the service.

How we use your data

• — To create and maintain your account
• — To store and serve your portfolio content
• — To provide you with viewer analytics on your own portfolio
• — To send transactional emails (e.g. email confirmation, password reset)
• — To improve the service

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.

Third-party services

We use the following third-party services to operate Myfolio:

• Supabase — database, file storage, and authentication. Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure. See supabase.com/privacy.
• Vercel — hosting and content delivery. See vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
• Stripe — payment processing for Pro subscriptions. Stripe collects and stores your payment information. We do not store card details. See stripe.com/privacy.
• Resend — transactional email delivery (account confirmations, subscription notifications). See resend.com/privacy.

Your content

You own your photos and content. We store them solely to provide the service to you. You can delete your content or your entire account at any time. Upon account deletion, your content and personal data are permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.

Cookies

We use a single session cookie (viewer_token) to authenticate private portfolio viewers. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is removed within 30 days. Anonymized analytics data may be retained longer for service improvement purposes.

Your rights

You have the right to:

Children

Myfolio is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
